Across all age groups, we seek to inspire and teach biblical truth in engaging ways to foster spiritual hunger and commitment. We come alongside families to play our part in helping children build strong foundations that set them up for the adventures of life! 

Eastgate Kids
Pakūranga | Up to Year 6
Sundays during the 9am Morning Service

Our team focus on nurturing faith and helping children form friendships in a caring and educational environment. Head to the Kids kiosk on arrival then enter the main service for the first 15 minutes.

Godzone Juniors (ages 3 to Year 1) will have their own storytime and activities, while the Godzone Seniors (Years 2-6) get involved in connect groups, worship and other learning fun.

We have a parents’ room and crèche for 0-2 year olds.

Te Kauwhata | Up to Year 6
Sundays during the 10am service

We aim to build foundational truths in the hearts and minds of our younger generations. We start in the main service then head out together for stories and activities. Currently, our programme welcomes all children together. A crèche room at the back of the hall is also provided. 

Charged Youth
Pakūranga | Years 7-9
Sundays during the 9am Morning Service and school-term Friday nights at 5:45pm

Charged Youth is a great place to encounter God, meet new friends, and grow a foundation for the whole of life. Friday night socials happen during the school term at various times and locations and include games, fun, and out-of-the-box activities.

We engage in authentic conversation to learn more about faith in Jesus and build lasting friendships. Everyone who comes will find a friend.

Mondays 7-8:30pm fortnightly during term time

Term 1 2026 starts Monday, 9 February!

Eastgate Youth launched in Te Kauwhata last year, and we are back again for 2026. Open to all year 7-13 students, these youth nights blend fun activities, tasty food, and meaningful Bible discussions that connect faith to everyday life.
